Our QVO Tactical “Thumb Cliff” is now LIVE! We know a lot of you have been waiting for this release and we are stoked to get these out to you, especially if you’re a lefty and have been wanting some type of recoil mitigation contact point for your firearm. When purchasing the “Thumb Cliff” you’ll receive both the long and short versions for your hand orientation. If you’re a right handed shooter you will receive “Thumb Cliffs” that attach to the left side of the light intended for use with your support hand (left). Vice versa for you left handed shooters. The package will include the two “Thumb Cliffs” and a 5/64″ Allen Key for hand tight installation.
We have found that the “Thumb Cliffs” work with any firearm that can have the SureFire X300 Ultra or Turbo A Models attached. Please refer to the YouTube video below for more information. Additionally this product will work with most OWB Holsters to include your Safariland ALS duty holster.
Also, big thank you to everyone who tested and tried out the production samples before finalizing the design. The first versions were sent out to friends, customers and pro shooters to get their input. The “Thumb Cliff” is designed strictly for use with the SureFire X300 Ultra & Turbo A Models Only. It will not work with the B model of the SureFire X300. Please do not purchase this product without already owning or plans to purchase an X300 A model. Additionally, the screws should only be hand tight when installing the “Thumb Cliff.” Over tightening can damage your screws and/or light and we will not replace your weapon light due to this.

The large thumb cliff installed quickly and easily, works great with my Staccato P. Gives a nice memory point for the support hand thumb, which I was missing after switching to a 2011. I’m not super used to the “gas pedal” concept, but after a few dozen rounds I quickly got used to how to apply pressure to it and can say it definitely does help tame the very stout recoil of 9mm through that heavy steel 2011……
But in all seriousness, anything that can help mitigate even just a teeny bit more recoil and drive the gun faster and more accurately is a win in my book.
No fitment issues with a Safariland duty holster, and my IWB holster needed just a little heat and retains the gun with that positive *click.* Shipped the same day I ordered it, and super affordable. A great idea well executed.
